Introduction

In most countries，the acceptance and awareness of genetically modified（GM）food have been shaped by divergent messages from environmentalists and biotech industries. For one thing，empirical evidence from biological studies is interpreted in such different ways that one should not expect any convergence of opinions in the near future（e.g.，Royal Society of London，2003）.
